APPLICATION SURFACES
Nasiol MetalCoat F2 is applicable to car body, engine plastic and metal parts, headlights, taillights, and rims. Do not apply to unlacquered plastic parts, fresh paint jobs (up to 3 months), low-quality paint jobs, glass, textile, and tires.
APPLICATION
- Ensure that temperature and relative humidity (RH) values (+5 ̊C ~ + 30 ̊C / 41 ̊F ~ 86 ̊F / 50% RH) of application space are as close as possible to suggested conditions to obtain maximum product performance. Avoid direct sunlight during the application and only work on cool surfaces. Wash your vehicle thoroughly. If required, apply clay bar.
- After decontamination, apply polishing / compounding via using appropriate tools and silicone free / wax-free cutting compounds with respect to the physical condition of your vehicle’s surface.
- When polishing is complete, wash the car and ensure that all the application areas are totally dry before using the product.
- Prepare the surface by using Nasiol Clean to remove any residual contamination and dry with a lint-free microfiber cloth prior to the use of the product.
- Before using the product, wear the protective nitrile gloves included in the box.
- Consumption is 5-8mL/m² (5-8mL /10ft²). Spray on one square meter around 20-30 times with a standard MetalCoat F2 bottle and buff immediately with Nasiol Microfiber Cloth.
- Do not work on areas larger than 1m²/10ft² at once. Keep the coated surface away from direct sunlight, dust, water and contamination during 24 hours curing period.

What is Nasiol MetalCoat F2? What are its benefits?
Nasiol MetalCoat F2 is a paint protection product applied to the car body. It offers ease of application thanks to its spray form. It provides the treated surface with water and oil repellency and allows for the easy cleaning of difficult stains such as bird droppings. It protects the color of the car paint by providing UV protection. It has 7H scratch resistance. Its durability is up to 1 year.
What surfaces can it be applied to? Can it be applied over PPF (Paint Protection Film), foil, etc.?
Nasiol MetalCoat F2 cannot be applied over films and coatings such as PPF. The product can be applied to the surfaces listed below:
- Car rims and headlights
- Plastic cockpit parts
- Under-hood metal parts
- All other shiny metal and plastic surfaces
What surfaces should it not be applied to?
- Plasti-Dips
- Freshly painted components (Up to 3 months)
- Low-quality paintwork

What's the difference between Nasiol MetalCoat F2 and Nasiol ZR53?
Nasiol MetalCoat F2 and ZR53 are both developed for paint protection for cars, yachts, etc. Nasiol MetalCoat F2 is a less durable product than ZR53; its longevity is up to 1 year and it has no scratch resistance effect whilst ZR53 offers up to 3 years of protection. While ZR53 offers 9H hardness, Nasiol MetalCoat F2 offers 7H. The water and oil repellency values between the two products also differ. On the other hand, Nasiol MetalCoat F2 is a more budget-friendly product that is extremely easy to apply for paint protection. It can also be applied as a refresher about 6 – 12 months after a vehicle has been treated with ZR53.
Is it applied to a new vehicle, or a used one? Can it be applied on fresh paint?
Nasiol MetalCoat F2 can be used on new or used vehicle surfaces so long as the necessary pre-application preparations are made. In the instructions of use, it is stated that the product should not be applied to freshly painted surfaces. The reason behind this advice is the fact that the product bonds with well-dried paint much more effectively. For optimum performance, it is advised to apply Nasiol MetalCoat F2 about 3-4 months after the latest paint application.
What should I do once the product cures on the surface? I applied the product incorrectly; what will happen now? What should I do?
If the product is applied incorrectly without taking the instructions into account, it can only be removed from the surface using cutting compounds or sanding.
How many layers should I apply? Will it be more effective if I apply multiple coats?
Once you have applied Nasiol MetalCoat F2 correctly, there is no need to apply extra layers. As the vehicle surface will already be covered by Nasiol MetalCoat F2, there will not be an appropriate surface for a second layer to bond to.
How long is the product’s shelf life? How long after opening the bottle should I finish the product? What are the recommended storage conditions?
An unopened bottle of Nasiol MetalCoat F2 can safely be stored for 12 months under the recommended storage conditions. Once the product has been opened and partly used, the bottle should be kept shut tightly and the remaining product should be used within 1 week. For the ideal storage, the ambient temperature should be between -3°C and +30°C.

I use this product when ZR53 starts to lose its effect on my car. Easier to apply but be careful when applying as blurred marks can occur on not well buffed parts. Greetings from UAE.
